About John Ross & Co.

Owner John Ross is originally from Montezuma, Kansas. He founded John Ross & Co. Signature Catering in 2010. He has previously worked as a chef at both the Ritz Carlton and at Elway’s Steakhouse, both in Denver, Colorado.
Other work experience John Ross had on the road to owning his own catering business included Intern Director for food and beverage at Porto Cima (Lake of the Ozarks), cook at Old Chicago (Manhattan, Kansas) and banquet server and bartender at the Marriot (Junction City, Kansas).
John Ross attended Butler Community College after graduating from high school. He went on to attend K-State, majoring in Hotel and Restaurant Management, where he was the president of his major.
John Ross has taken experiences from restaurants he has worked at and combined them with cooking and business influences from his family to form John Ross & Co. The John Ross & Co. team has worked hard to establish an excellent reputation in southwest Kansas (and beyond) for making each event they cater a success.
Everything John Ross prepares is from scratch—and you can taste it in the food! Combine the taste with a beautiful presentation and competitive pricing, and you'll understand why there is no "off-season" for this team.
John Ross & Co. is unique in the fact that he and his team are able to cook on-site and can travel to your event. They pride themselves on having a large variety of menu choices for every style of event and every appetite.
We can accommodate your event no matter the venue. We've done them all! We also will set up and tear down!
Don't forget—you keep the leftovers! All remaining food from event is yours to keep. We will provide disposable leftover containers for your convenience.
Who is & Co?
When starting your own business, it isn't feasible to hire the arsenal of people you are going to need. I am lucky enough to have some amazingly supportive people in my life that believed in me enough to help me along the way. My family and friends have been there to help me whenever I needed an extra hand, and they have truly helped me turn my dream into a reality.
